3.71913 reviewsI recently stayed at Ibis, and while its location was undeniably convenient for my needs, my overall experience was disappointing due to the lack of comfort. The biggest issue was the extremely uncomfortable beds, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately, even after requesting extra pillows to improve the situation, the hotel was adamant about providing only two per bed, which did little to help. The main reason I chose Ibis was its proximity to key locations, and in that regard, it was excellent. However, the lack of comfort and limited flexibility in accommodating a…
Overall the hotel was nice and clean, but the breakfast was our best part. The food was amazing and all the staff was friendly and professional with us. If I could give 20 stars I would. Having washers or dryers would be better
Stayed here a few years ago for some consulate appointments. I highly recommend as it extremely close to the consulate and has a shopping mall across the street. There is a tour bus that also stops in the shopping center that tales you to several places, if you are waiting for your visa or other appointments. We felt safe and the breakfast food was not that bad. We were able to find a reliable taxi to take us to the airport, with the help of the hotel clerks.
Planning your trip to Juarez
Ciudad Juárez is a border city visited with a purpose: maquiladora business, paperwork at the US consulate — the world's busiest for visas — or the crossing to El Paso. The hotels gather where that happens. The Pronaf-consulate zone holds the mid-range chains that live off visa appointments; the Avenida Tecnológico corridor and Las Misiones collect the executive hotels beside the malls, and make the most comfortable base. Our 2026 scans logged 25 hotels with a real price: from US$54 a night and a typical rate of about US$85, with little seasonal movement — the calendar matters less than the appointment book. Honestly: this is not a tourist destination and city common sense applies — app rides, busy areas — but the burrito scene and the border history reward a traveller with spare hours.
