Hotel Surf Olas Altas

We only ate at the restaurant. Beer's cold, cocktails were tasty and effective. Large, varied menu, lots of choices. Our favorites so far: pizzas, burritos, tacos arranchero, tacos dorados, shrimp cocktails. We'll be back.

The hotel is right across the road from the beach and has friendly staff on the most part but that is its only pluses. The hotel is in dire need of maintenance and deep cleaning. There is mold on the curtains, large stains on the mattress, the pool badly needs to be redone, fixtures in bathroom rusting and old, etc. A very tired hotel. When I left my prescription sunglasses at a store one block from the hotel that has no phone number, the staff declined to send someone to retrieve them. We loved everything! Clean, super clean! Location, right in Zicatela! Friendliness of the staff Comfortable bed & rooms Wifi was great Smart TV Hair dryer in the room Ironing board and iron Electrical outlet at the bedside Price, value Good pool area with a great view Water dispenser throughout hotel are genius and very appreciated! Only complaint, we would have enjoyed a mini fridge in the room ☹️
