The location is not too bad, some people might not like the walk to the beach area or that it’s built on a hill but that did not bother us at all. The staff were awesome and always very friendly. A bit of communication issues with me not knowing any Spanish but was able to make things work. The Park Royal was very clean, loved the pools and the food was great also. 10 out of 10 for all the staff as they were always wonderful to deal with. Tangolunda is the bay of the big resorts, many all-inclusive, on their own beach. La Crucecita is the town — simple hotels, the market, taquerías — 10 minutes from the bays and home to the best prices. Santa Cruz has the pier, the marina and a friendly town beach; Chahué sits between, quiet and growing.
