4.1457 reviewsThis is a very decent 3* hotel, with really good value for money. Their beach is lovely, pretty big and with not too many but still enough sun beds, so it doesn’t feel crowded at all. The included breakfast is sweet only so we went out for breakfast because we love us some savory breaky. But there is enough really good breakfast places around. The rooms are at a high standard for a 3* hotel. Everything is in good shape, the lights are sufficient and make a nice atmosphere, there is more than enough storage room, which I love, the aircon is super new, silent and installed in a way that it doesn…
Great hotel to stay couple of days, hotel is not too big. Christiaan on the beach is a great guy who works hard to get you served. Rooms are ok and everything you need is there. We had a problem with the toilet and this was fixed quickly. The breakfast is served (not buffet) and is great with all you need to start the day. Beach is cleaned daily and the sunset view is amazing.
Great location, wish it had a pool. Very nice helpful staff and one of the best places to watch the sunset, rooms were small but adequate. The water temperature and pressure could have been a lot better and the bed wasn't comfortable, but again the location was everything!!!

The centre, by the ferry dock, holds the budget hotels, the restaurants and what little bustle exists. Westward toward Punta Cocos and eastward toward Punta Mosquito the beach opens up and the boutique hotels appear, hammocks strung over the water — pricier and quieter. Our 2026 scans logged 47 hotels with a real price: from US$38 a night and a typical rate of about US$92. Honestly: getting here takes effort — two and a half hours from Cancún plus a ferry — mosquitoes and sandflies show up the moment it rains, nearly everything is paid in cash, and when the island fills, its services strain. That is the price of slow paradise.
