4.7110 reviewsI loved staying in this small hotel. It is located in a quiet area with a lot vegetation. I really appreciated the 5 gallon water container in the room. The beach is about 3min walk and is also close to a small bakery and a fruit/vegetable store. I also bought a packet with them that included whale shark swimming, bioluminescent and 12hrs use of their bikes. The breakfast has a good variety, but was OK for me since it didn’t include vegetables. I will definitely stay again there since I fell in love with Holbox.
Stayed here for a few nights. It´s a bit "far off" (5 minute walk into the center of town). But otherwise it´s really lovely. Rooms were clean. Staff friendly. The only 2 things that could be improved: - breakfast is a bit basic, however basics like salt & pepper are missing - the pool area could be improved (all of the chairs were halfway broken, the pool itself seemed "dirty") But seeing as no one uses the pool, with the sea so close, it wasn´t a biggie for me
Had a great five days here. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was nice, location is perfect - very quiet but close to the best beach area on the island and within walking distance to the town center and several good restaurants. Air conditioning and Wifi worked well, large water bottle (refilled while we were here) was useful, as was the refrigerator. Rooms were rustic with some character, clean. Would definitely come again.

Honestly: getting here takes effort — two and a half hours from Cancún plus a ferry — mosquitoes and sandflies show up the moment it rains, nearly everything is paid in cash, and when the island fills, its services strain. That is the price of slow paradise.
