Not exceptionally close to the beach, which is good if you are looking for peace and quiet at the end of the day, but a very easy walk. Beautiful pool and garden. Exceptional staff, always friendly and helpful! Don't expect to have hot water and our room didn't have any chairs, which after a long day in the heat and sweat, it would have been nice to sit somewhere other than on the bed. A mini fridge would have been nice too.
Our stay was a wonderful experience. When we first got there we had a few issues with our room, but Ricardo in the front desk was very helpful and friendly and put us in a different room that was perfect. Everything is very clean and comfortable. You definitely get a great value and bang for your buck. I would definitely return here. Everything is walking distance and easily accessible.
Chill vibes & sweet people at Casa Bárbara Stayed a few nights at Casa Bárbara and honestly, it was just what I needed. The place has a super calm, laid-back vibe. The rooms are a bit worn around the edges, but they’re clean and comfy, and breakfast is included. What really made the stay though was the staff – so kind, helpful, and genuinely happy to share tips or help with anything you need. Also, the location couldn’t be better. Close to everything, but still feels quiet and relaxed. If you’re into local, easygoing places with heart – this one’s for you.
