Pamela and our funny friend from the breakfast restaurant offer the best service we had in Mexico. Best regards to them!! 100% recommendation in Holbox!!
The Hotel is run by very nice and friendly couple. The place is well maintained and while not a luxury hotel, it's a nice and cozy place. We very enjoyed our stay there. The only downside is the music bar near by which plays unreasonably loud music untill at night. It didn't bother me to much but it might effect light sleepers.
The hotel is located very centrally - which is good and bad. It’s next to a very loud disco - bikini bottom. Music until 3-4am. Very loud. Apparently nothing can be done to rein in the disco. The rooms are very modest - and there is often no warm water or water. Despite all this, if you can p it up with the music - the staff are very nice, the breakfast selection is good - although not included in an already very expensive price. But I guess that’s because of the limited supply of hotels on the island. If I would go again I would book somewhere farther away from bikini bottom - but overall…
