We have just booked our wedding to be here. Very excited, and to be honest it was more Diana, the wedding planner that we chose, having seen many places and spoken to many people, Diana was a breath of fresh air. We were advised to consider not just the venue but who you have to deal with for a year and it is looking like we hit the jackpot in that regard. The venue is stunning, the rooms are beautiful and we can't wait for our wedding day.
We stayed here two nights for a wedding that was hosted by Quinta San Carlos. The location is absolutely beautiful, complete with a bar/restaurant, surrounded by well-maintained landscaping, with a backdrop of Lake Chapala. The rooms were not bad, although ours smelled a little musty, likely due to the humidity. Fortunately, it has an AC unit so we were able to cool off at night. For whatever reason, this weekend must have been some specific celebration as both mornings around 6AM we heard a series of fireworks from down the road at a church.
