4.22281 reviews5/5 — A truly meaningful stay I stayed at City Express Junior in Ciudad Juárez for two weeks during a very important chapter of my life, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to call home during that time. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, safe, and cared for. Everyone — from the front desk to housekeeping — was incredibly kind, polite, and attentive. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests, not just professionally but on a human level. The rooms were clean, simple, and comfortable, and the hotel felt safe and well-maintai…
My home away from home for 2 weeks. Very warm and welcoming despite the nerves of consulate appointments. Front desk employee was very professional and nice. She answered any question I had(like how laundry worked, lol). Really puts a smile on your face and makes you feel at peace. If I ever have to come back. I would definitely rebook here. The only reason I left was because it was fully booked.
We came here like everyone else, to take care of needed business at the consulate. We wanted a clean and safe place to stay that was centrally located to the places we needed to go. City Express met all our needs. Thank you to all the staff at City Express for all the guidance and hospitality.
Planning your trip to Juarez
Ciudad Juárez is a border city visited with a purpose: maquiladora business, paperwork at the US consulate — the world's busiest for visas — or the crossing to El Paso. The hotels gather where that happens. The Pronaf-consulate zone holds the mid-range chains that live off visa appointments; the Avenida Tecnológico corridor and Las Misiones collect the executive hotels beside the malls, and make the most comfortable base. Our 2026 scans logged 25 hotels with a real price: from US$54 a night and a typical rate of about US$85, with little seasonal movement — the calendar matters less than the appointment book. Honestly: this is not a tourist destination and city common sense applies — app rides, busy areas — but the burrito scene and the border history reward a traveller with spare hours.
