4.978 reviewsHands down the best boutique hotel experience I have had in Mexico. The hotel is beautifully designed. The rooms are huge. Ours had a second floor private roof deck with plunge pool. It’s a one minute walk down to the lake. Beats Tulum by 100x. Much more relaxing. Will be back.
We had a fantastic stay at the Bacalari hotel, the hotel itself is beautiful and clean. Staff are extremely friendly, attentive and spoke excellent English. They organised a boat trip on the lagoon for us which was such a good trip. The area itself felt safe at night and there’s parking right outside. The hotel is about a 10/15 walk to the central point where there are plenty of lovely restaurants and shops. There is a boardwalk a 2 minute walk from the hotel which leads to the lagoon which is beautiful and great for swimming and sunbathing (or just to enjoy the view). The only negative I coul…
