4.51631 reviewsWe really enjoyed staying at Hotel Villablanca! The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly, and the pool area is very nice. We met a number of other travellers and visited around the pool. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. The location is top notch - you can walk to restaurants, coffee shops, beaches... everything is within a 20 minute walk. What a great place to stay!
Absolutely amazing!! The breakfast buffet was delicious. Kept us full all day. Pool was great. The concierge was very helpful with booking tours and also provides free drive down to the beach.
A nice, smaller hotel a bit of a walk from the beach. A secure, central courtyard/pool area. Staff are excellent. Room was very clean-every day. In room fridge, a/c, 4-5 english tv channels, coffee. Beds are firm. Included bfast was great. Alex the “tour guy” was great. Snorkelling, turtle release or coffee plantations are just some of his offerings. Alex is set up in the front foyer of villablanca. He speaks good english.

Tangolunda is the bay of the big resorts, many all-inclusive, on their own beach. La Crucecita is the town — simple hotels, the market, taquerías — 10 minutes from the bays and home to the best prices. Santa Cruz has the pier, the marina and a friendly town beach; Chahué sits between, quiet and growing. Honestly: nightlife is short here and the loveliest beaches are earned by boat or dirt track; you come to Huatulco to slow down.
