4.22410 reviewsNice hotel that offers everything, good restaurant as well. Maybe a bit overpriced since the rooms are old and damaged and the pillows are very uncomfortable. But great hot shower. Nice staff. Good location next to ADO bus station. Good parking. Guest can make or break your hotel stay, the structure of the hotel makes corridor living easy, And on my floor it was like a ghetto. People hanging around drinking, kids running around, family fights, women gathering together outside the rooms. After I had been moved to a lower floor my stay improved a lot.
Highly recommended hotel and restaurant if you have to use the ADO terminal early in the morning or late in the evening. I stayed here after arriving late at night to Veracruz International Airport. I had an early bus departure to Orizaba, so this hotel location was perfect. The taxi cab from the Airport to the ADO station was 200 pesos. There is also an on-site restaurant that serves very affordable breakfasts and meals for the rest of the day.
For a hotel in a bustling part of the city, Central Hotel needs a lot of things in check. Their AC breaks easily, the blankets are way too thin, and the water offered in jugs doesn't even come cold. If you're staying overnight and can handle all this, all the power to you. If not, look somewhere else. Don't waste your time.
