Americans really have to stop criticizing hotels here that they get for cheap & expecting something luxurious in these comments. Be realistic. Nice staff, nice stained glass windows in the lobby. Spacious rooms & they even let us look at two before choosing to stay. Chose the one with a bit more room but both same price & plenty of space. It’s close to many things also. Free breakfast as well & pool up top. Overall awesome. The small things like friendly staff & clean rooms make me happy.
The hotel is very basic, the room smells super heavily like bad humidity/mold and the pool is super dirty. But that's really not the bad part, the real bad part is that we got robbed by Ivėn, the man attending the entrance and luggage. He was super nice and helpful, but that was only so he could take advantage of our group. We needed a taxi when checking out of the hotel, Ivén recommended us to use his friend's services, which he said, I quote, "can be trusted", but when we reached our destination the cab driver extorted us, asking for more money than originally agreed upon.
