Well situated hotel in the walled old-town of Campeche. Easy walking distance to most sites and literally 100 metres from the cathedral. In a Spanish colonial building that probably dates from early 18th century. Clean room. AC. Comfy bed. Small semi outdoor pool. Also has fridge in the main lobby if you need to keep milk or something cold. Beautiful historic ediface. All night desk. Also desk will call a cab driver they know, this was very convenient as I had turned in my rental and needed to get to the Train Maya station. Nice historic hotel, more than 300 years old. Great location near independence square. Nice lobby area and pool. Our room had issues with some lights not working, one loose power outlet, one big stair to enter the bathroom. Nice high celing. Comfortable bed.

I liked this hotel. It is a very old building that has character in spades. The finish is a bit rustic but considering the building is hundreds of years old, that is to be expected. The location is excellent, just off independence square. There is an oxxo store and banks nearby. Short walk to the Macelon.
