Hotel La Finca

This review is for the restaurant inside the hotel. The service was great and they have a variety of local and international dishes . We ordered a hamburger, chicken soup, garlic mushrooms, stuffed fish and club sandwich. Everything tasted great. They also have a big cocktails selection. I've had the pina colada and sangria, both have good taste and size. The view from the restaurant is beautiful, as you can see the lake, the fishermen and local wildlife. Also, the pool is right there to enjoy.

Despite being in a great location and having some beautiful views, the hotel itself is in need of upgrades and maintenance. I'm sure in it's day this was an awesome hotel but now it feels outdated. There are no screens to the patio and the room had bugs so we couldn't sleep with windows open and the AC is very old and very noisy so we couldn't sleep because of the noise. The staff was very friendly and like I said the location and views are amazing.

The outside of this hotel was beautiful. Nice pool and bar area. Good restaurant setting. Unfortunately the rooms were really dated. Only had two plug in socket in the whole room. Did have one in the bathroom. The food at the restaurant was not spectacular. The staff was very helpful. I wouldn’t stay here again.
