4.6233 reseñasNice clean and correct room. Very pleasant and nice people behind the front desk. Conveniently close to the sea/beach. They have a nice beach club that you can visit. They have a ping pong table and games to play. Breakfast however is not before 8.30 (which we found too late), the breakfast size were small, and the options were limited.
Good hotel near Playa Punta Cocos (where you can see the bioluminescence). I didn’t love the beach club, but it’s a great spot to watch the sunrise. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was decent, and the hotel has nice, comfortable facilities. The restaurant on the corner, La Cabane, is delicious, and there’s a mini supermarket nearby. Just keep in mind that it’s a 20-minute walk to go the center, or about a 5 to 10-minute taxi ride which will cost you around 150 Mexican pesos. We just returned from a fantastic week at Hotel Ensueno, and it was the perfect spot for our family of five. The accommodations were excellent—spacious, super clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts every morning, and the property itself was well-maintained. One of the highlights was its proximity to the beach club, just a minute’s walk away. We felt so safe that we happily let the kids explore on their own. Planea tu viaje a Isla Holbox
Holbox es una isla sin coches, con calles de arena y traslados en carrito de golf, y sus hoteles siguen esa lógica. El centro, junto al muelle del ferry, concentra los hoteles económicos, los restaurantes y el poco bullicio que hay. Hacia el poniente, rumbo a Punta Cocos, y hacia el oriente, rumbo a Punta Mosquito, la playa se abre y aparecen los hoteles boutique con hamacas sobre el agua — más caros y más silenciosos. Nuestros escaneos de 2026 registraron 47 hoteles con precio real: desde US$38 la noche y un precio típico del orden de US$92. Lo honesto: llegar toma su tiempo — dos horas y media desde Cancún más ferry —, los mosquitos y jejenes aparecen en cuanto llueve, casi todo se paga en efectivo y la isla, cuando se llena, tensa sus servicios. Ese es el precio del paraíso lento.
