A perfectly solid hotel room on a loooong stretch of Baja Norte that does not have much lodging. Clean, basic, modern, American-style room had 2 comfortable beds, heat and A/C, a nice bathroom and plenty of space. This hotel is the go-to stop between TJ and Guerrero Negro and has a restaurant/coffee shop onsite. Room was quiet despite hotel's location on the main drag. Warm and efficient staff. Somewhat pricey for the area and amenities, but not many other options nearby and assume HVdV is smartly capitalizing on this

We only ate at the hotel's restaurant - we did not stay at the hotel. But ... The food and service at the restaurant were outstanding. We are looking forward to our future return to the restaurant. FWIW, the hotel looked very nice, as well.

Pet friendly rooms - be sure to book directly with hotel and not 3rd party site so you can be assured you get a pet friendly room. Those pet friendly rooms are separate from non-pet rooms. Family owned establishment, everyone who works there is super nice! Clean rooms, love having real keys to let you into rooms! Restaurant on site, good food and fairly affordable. Will be back next time we’re in the area.
